Radio Tray is an online radio streaming player that runs on a Linux system tray. Its goal is to have the minimum interface possible, making it very straightforward to use. Radio Tray is not a full featured music player, there are plenty of excellent music players already. However, there was a need for a simple application with minimal interface just to listen to online radios. And that’s the sole purpose of Radio Tray.
Radio Tray comes with a number of radio channels stored in it. These internet radio channels are grouped as per their genre. Apart from that you can configure it to play your favourite radio channel. You can add a whole new group or just channels.

Radio Tray Features

  • drag & drop bookmarks support

  • supports PLS playlist format (Shoutcast/Icecast)

  1. RadioTray do not work after upgrade Linux kernel to 4.4.0-81-generic. When I check version terminal command “uname -v” answer is “#104-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jun 14 08:17:06 UTC 2017”.
